yesterday, I tried to walk a distance... being bothered by the so-called 10,000 steps program, I paranoidly, if there is such a word, and literary, count my footsteps... unfortunately, i only got, for the record, 900 footsteps... that is from the time I got out of the jeepney to the jeepney terminal... so that would mean I would have to go back 10 times plus 200 more steps... from my previous position to the jeepney terminal again and again in order to gain 10,000 steps in a day! Whoa! that would also mean cramps in my joints, breathlessness, sweat and thirst! I know it's good not just for me but for everybody as well... so better start to wear that running shoes and start to strut... I mean walk! hehehehe But of course, I will never have to go back ten times from a certain distance to my destination... I'll just have to start a little much further than the usual to gain more steps... bright idea, isn't it? |
