dalawang araw na ang nakalipas mula nung dumating ang bagyong Milenyo sa buong Metro Manila... at unfortunately isa kami sa mga nasalanta ng bagyong ito... hindi naman gaanong kalaki ang mga naging pinsala ng bagyo sa bahay namin pero may ilan pa ring mga bagay na nasira...
~ pangalawang araw ng wala kaming kuryente... actually sa buong tanza, navotas... anim na poste ng meralco ang bumagsak sa buong subdivision at kahit iba ang linya namin... hindi mabuksan ng meralco ang ibang kuryente hanggang hindi pa naitatayo ang mga bumagsak na poste... kung nagtataka kayo bakit ako may post ngaung araw eto ay dahil nasa opisina ako at nagpapalamig sa aircon at nagpapakasawa sa unlimited na internet!
~ bumagsak din ang puno ng guyabano sa may likod bahay namin... mayaman kasi kami kaya kami ay may likod bahay... hahahaha... joke! anyway... sayang yung punong iyon malapit pa namang mamulaklak na ulit... tapos bumagsak lang... ayun, patay na siya!
~ thank God at hindi tinangay ang mga bubong namin... yung ka-duplex namin na bahay ay wala ng bubungan... pero kami meron pa naman... haay... salamat... nabutas lang ung isang part ng bubong namin namin dahil tinamaan ito ng bubong galing sa kapitbahay namin... anyway naayos na naman...
~ simula nung pagkaraan ng bagyo, hindi na ako makasend sa globe na number ko... I wonder what happened... nasayang ang unlimitxt ko... hmp! meron kang kailangang itext pero hindi mo matext dahil message sending failed... may load naman ako at may signal naman hindi ko lang alam kung bakit ayaw masend... nakakainis...
kailan kaya kami magkakakuryente... e bagal bagal pa naman kumilos ng mga taga- meralco... hhaaayyyy... ang balita ko hindi na nila sinasagot ang mga tawag sa kanilang hotline na 16211... flooded na ata kasi ng mga calls na kailangan ng kanilang mga serbisyo... di ba dapat lang naman na magrespond agad sila dahil part yun ng pagbibigya ng service sa tao... anyway dahil september 30 na iba na naman ang background ko... nahawa na ata ako kina dons at carlotta... hehehehe ciao!

wow! september 27 na pala... at three days na lang october na... pero bago magtapos ang september habol ko muna ang mga latest addicitons ko na talaga namang di na ako paaawat!
1. una sa lahat... addict na ako sa dvds! bumibili na din ako ng dvds na hindi ko naman ginagawa dati... nagsimula ito ng bumili ako ng it started with a kiss na taiwanese drama... sobra... kahapon lang bumili ulit ako ng dvd! 8 in 1 pa! o di ba for P100 only meron na akong walo, as in eight (8) na movies! tipid! pero nga lang pirated... hahahaha
2. ikalawa sa lahat... addict na din ako kay cofibean... hindi ko alam kung bakit ako nahuhook sa mga blog entries nya... kung wala kayong magawa sa buhay... basahin nyo na lng ang mga entries nya... but don't take it seriously naman... iba-iba ang mga tao... sa opinion ko masaya cyang basahin... kung yung iba ay naooffend sa mga pinagsasabi nya... ako naman ay hindi... just to give a gist of what's in there... it's all about the coniotic experience of a self-proclaimed "glitterati", whatever that means! hahahaha.... basta check out na lang his link... kung hindi gumana andun sa gilid ng blogsite na ito... dun sa fun links section!
3. ikatlo sa lahat... mga bagong tv shows... hahahaha... jologs no? basta nag-eenjoy sa panonood ng tv kahit gabi na din akong umuuwi... kahit mabot pa ako ng hanggang 12 midnight sa panonood ng tv ok lang sa akin.... hahahahaha... kahit ibig sabihin pa nun ay limang oras lang ako kung matulog sa gabi... hahahaha
4. ikaapat sa lahat... master eskinol facial wash... sikreto ng mga guwapo... hahahahaha... after that long biyahe from work, I think I deserve naman to pamper my face... hahahaha, ang arte no? kasi feeling ko nasagap ko na lahat ng usok and dirt sa metro kapag nagbibiyahe ako... so the only thing I can do is to clean my face with a facial scrub para clean na ulit ung face... I hate it nga ngaun kasi I got pimples... hahahaha... naubos na kasi ung master eskinol facial scrub ko... and the only thing I can have to wash my face is just plain soap and water! ang kati kati minsan sa mukha kapag soap lang... hahahaha... ang arte talaga!
5. at ang ikalima sa lahat... ang aking work... addict na din ako dito sa work ko... I guess dahil sa libreng internet na talaga namang super unlimited (except for those days lang na talagang down ang system which is once in a blue moon naman kung mangyari)! dahil sa libre nga ang internet madami akong natutunan sa pagsesearch na kung anu-anong mga bagay... makabuluhan man o hindi.... hahahaha

finally... I managed to update my blog... after sixteen days or so... whew! finally I am blogging once more... naging sobrang busy ako lately... ang daming paper works, photo search and some other stuffs na kailangang gawin sa aming science magazines... finally... nabuksan ko na ulit itong blog ko!
some updates:
1. hmm... for the past week, sumakit ang ngipin ko... e pag masakit pa naman ang ngipin ko, masakit din aking ulo... thanks to mefenamic acid at nabawasan ang sakit ng ngipin ko kahit pansumandali lang... i have this toothache for almost two years na... at hindi ko pa mapabunot... kasi wala akong time at money para magpabunot ng ngipin... calling sponsors... hehehehe... merong dalawang sunod na araw na uminom ako ng dalawang mefenamic sa loob ng isang araw... which I don't usually do! I got scared of the idea so I stopped it... hininto ko na ang pag-inom ng mefenamic para sa sakit ng ngipin ko... kese hodang sumakit ang ulo ko, ok lang... wag lang ako maging adik sa mefenamic at maging mefenamic-dependent sa lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman ko sa aking katawan...
2. last saturday, i went to glorietta to meet elen to give a copy of it started with a kiss (ISWAK), a taiwanese comedy-drama that is currently showing on abs-cbn... I strongly recommend this chinovela for your viewing pleasure... about three weeks ago, i bought this dvd of ISWAK... actually, ung dvd ng godfather ang una kong binili dahil gusto kong mapanood ang godfather... the dvd was an 8-in-1 condensed dvd 9... malaki daw ang capacity nito kaya ayun binili ko... ang laman ng dvd ay godfather I, II, at III, and some other titles na hindi ko na maalala... basta, tapos, when I got home, excitedly to watch the dvd, hindi cya gumana... so I went back the other day para papalitan ung dvd... tapos ayun na... pinalitan ko na lng ng ISWAK! hehehe... gumana na naman ang pagiging anti-climactic ko kaya ko binili ko ung dvd ng ISWAK... bwahahaha... so far, tatlong ulit ng minamarathon ng mommy ko ang ISWAK! as in tatlong beses na nyang natapos ung series... at hindi pa sya nagsasawa dito... see, ganun cyang kaganda! as in... natapos ko na rin itong series na ito pero may mga back episodes pa akong hindi pa napapanood... babaliikan ko na lamang some other time... adik na ulit ako sa pagsasabi ng "xie xie" (tama ba yung spelling ko?) at "wo shi tang", hehehehe, at tsaka "wei"... this is addiction!
3. last september 02 naman... I went to our book fair in world trade center... the venue was big, and of course there were a lot of... books! hehehehe... sa sobrang daming mga publisher na nagparticipate sa event... naoverwhelmed ako sa dami ng mga books... ang akala hindi na ako makakabili ng kahit ano sa mga books and other stuffs na naroon... finally at the end of the day, bumili ako ng mga back issues ng culture crash... isang filipino manga... P85 ang original price nya, pero I got them on discount! seven back issues ang binili... gumana na naman ang pagiging OC ko kaya ayun, binili ko lahat ng issues na andun... I got each copy for only... tentenenen... P20 lamang! galing ano... hanggang sa 28th International Book Fair ulit! I think in two years pa ulet... hindi ko alam e...

Today, august 31, at exactly 3:42 pm marks the end of counting the text messages that I made during the whole month of august...
but before anything else, let me tell you how I got involved in this texting community...
it was only this march of 2006 when I started texting... yup... after maybe around 7 years of cellphone existence... over 40 million subscribers... and gazillions messages sent from here and around the globe... it was only this march, yes... this march... that is, only 5 months ago... when I started texting... at least when I started texting, the unlimitxt from globe has already in circulation... hehehe... lucky me isn't it?
it was my sister who generously let her cellphone to me... she had this sony ericsson j210i from her call center company... i think that is for company use only... but hey... i got to use it first hand! hehehe... anyway... the cell phone is new, not much of a feature, but okay...
and so it goes... i started texting... my company right now was a product of texting... I let my former officemates my number and we started texting... it just like a food that can't help my self but to crave for more... hahaha... texting nonsense... texting tv happenings and commenting on a program (right, rhona?) hahaha... saying hello to old friends... forwarding stupid messages... i even got chain texts... the newest chain letters... it was so unreasonable to forward such chain text... especialy involving GOD... grabe wala na ba silang magawa, pati ba naman si GOD... oops, tagalog! hahaha...
For all of you who reading this and knows my number... please stop sending me forwarded messages involving GOD, something like:
"...if you love God, you will pass this message to 15 of your friends..."
or something like
"...pass this message if you love God or else..."
hah! grabe kayo ha... okay lang ung quotes, jokes, inspirational messages, kahit verses from the bible... okay lang... basta wag lng katulad nung mga nasa itaas...ok?
One thing I've learned about this texting addiction... God's love is not measured through text messages... kung may mangyari man sa akin, kapalaran ko iyon... alam ni God ang plano nya sa akin no... please naman wag nyo na akong pasahan ng mga ganyang messages, ok? ano ba yan... parang hindi ako ito! but seriously tama naman ako di ba?
for the record... for the last 31 days... i managed to sent 1413 messages from all of those people who knew me... and received 1360 messages from all of them... whoa! am I a text addict?

tech today? hmm... and some stuffs it's nice to know what technology can do today!
in the time our mothers and fathers, internet was just a dream... not even a thought! but today... today is a new generation! we are in a new age now...
why did I tell this in my intro? because I am one of the people involved in looking for our old classmates way way back in grade school! whoa! that was about 11 years ago! but what technology can do to friends and classmates apart is just a thread away!
ano ba yan? ingles na naman ang salita ko! hehehe... feel ko lng kasing mag-english! anyway... ayun na nga... thanks to friendster at nakuha naming makontak ang mga dati naming classmates nung elementary! ang tanong... tanda pa kaya nila!
it was julie ramos balanag who organized the plan of having a reunion of us grade 6 section 1 pupils and of course my other classmates from the other grade level, aksi may nalilipat ng section e... yup you heard it right! i'm a section 1! bwahahaha...
well... if you are able to look for my records... it will tell you that I am a consistent section 1... that is... from kindergarten up to 4th year high school! and take note... I am also in a special section in college... ehem... i'm a DOST scholar! (yabang no?)
ok back to technology... julie signed up to have a yahoogroup! she invited me to join in... and then I informally volunteered as a person finder in friendster... because I am always infront of the computer... by the way i am a staff writer/researcher...
so far... our group is composed of 21 members from my classmates in grade school... we are about 50 of so... it's just a matter of time to have us all 50 complete! woohoo!
now that's what technology can do! keeping friends, classmates, and family close... even when they are oceans apart... it seems like we are just a click away!

guys... please bear with... I'm currently doing an experiment regarding my blogsite... I just can't figure out the things that I am going to do!
the discontended me... I don't know, I am just discontended... it seems pale and..... blue (?)... I hope I can make this thing change...
I will still make an update here every now and then... on what's been going on inside and outside of my mind... oh by the way... I'm also busy with something that I cannot tell you guys yet... it's a surprise... spoiler! hahahaha...

Who ever thought of the 10,000 steps program must have been dumb, idle, crazy or.... dumb! did i say dumb? yeah, dumb! yesterday, I tried to walk a distance... being bothered by the so-called 10,000 steps program, I paranoidly, if there is such a word, and literary, count my footsteps... unfortunately, i only got, for the record, 900 footsteps... that is from the time I got out of the jeepney to the jeepney terminal... so that would mean I would have to go back 10 times plus 200 more steps... from my previous position to the jeepney terminal again and again in order to gain 10,000 steps in a day! Whoa! that would also mean cramps in my joints, breathlessness, sweat and thirst! I know it's good not just for me but for everybody as well... so better start to wear that running shoes and start to strut... I mean walk! hehehehe But of course, I will never have to go back ten times from a certain distance to my destination... I'll just have to start a little much further than the usual to gain more steps... bright idea, isn't it?
